BEE FIRST ENGLISH
Parent/Guardian Course Enrolment Terms & Conditions 2026–2027
Academic Year: September 2026 – June 2027
Welcome to Bee First English! 🐝
Thank you for choosing Bee First English for your child's English classes.
These Terms & Conditions are designed to make everything clear and straightforward for parents and guardians. They explain how classes, payments, holidays, missed lessons, course materials and communication work throughout the academic year.
Please read them carefully before completing your child's enrolment and payment.
1. COURSE PERIOD
Your course runs from September 2026 until the end of June 2027.
Your child's regular place in their class is reserved for them while they remain enrolled and the monthly payments are kept up to date.
2. CLASSES & MONTHLY PAYMENTS
Group courses normally include:
• Two 55-minute live online classes per week
• Access to the Bee First English Moodle course and learning materials
Course fees for the 2026–2027 academic year are:
Existing Student Loyalty Rate: €56 per month, per student
Standard Course Rate for New Students: €60 per month, per student
If you are enrolling more than one child, the course fee applies per child.
Your monthly payment reserves your child's regular place in their group.
The course fee has been calculated across the full academic year. This means that the monthly payment remains the same even when the number of teaching weeks varies from one month to another.
3. HOLIDAYS
Planned Bee First English holidays and non-teaching days, including holidays at Christmas and Easter, have already been taken into account when calculating the course fee.
For this reason, the normal monthly payment remains the same during these months.
Parents and students will be informed in advance of planned Bee First English holiday dates.
4. IF YOUR CHILD MISSES A CLASS
I understand that sometimes work, family commitments, illness or other circumstances mean that a student cannot attend their normal class.
If your child is going to miss a lesson, please let me know as soon as possible.
Where possible, your child may make up the missed lesson by attending another suitable Bee First English class.
However, a make-up lesson can only be offered when there is an appropriate class at their level with a space available.
For this reason, make-up lessons cannot be guaranteed.
Make-up lessons are offered as an additional flexible benefit and do not have a cash value. Lessons missed by the student are therefore not refunded or deducted from a future monthly payment.
5. IF BEE FIRST ENGLISH CANCELS A CLASS
If Bee First English needs to cancel one of your child's scheduled lessons, I will arrange an alternative lesson or another suitable solution so that your child does not lose a lesson that has been paid for.
6. LEAVING THE COURSE
Although your child's course is planned from September until June, I understand that circumstances can change.
If you decide to withdraw your child from the course, please give one month's written notice.
The normal monthly course fee remains payable during the notice period, and your child can continue attending their classes during this time.
7. ONLINE CLASSES
Please help your child to join their lessons on time and ensure that they have access to a suitable device, stable internet connection, microphone and, where possible, a camera.
Students should attend from a suitable environment where they can concentrate and participate in the lesson.
Bee First English classes are designed to be friendly, supportive and interactive. Students are encouraged to participate and speak English as much as possible.
8. PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY
For younger students, parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is able to access the online lesson safely and has the necessary equipment.
Parents do not normally need to remain with their child during the lesson unless this has been agreed or the child requires additional help accessing the class.
Bee First English is responsible for the student during the online teaching session only and cannot supervise the child's activities before or after the lesson.
9. BEHAVIOUR & RESPECT
Bee First English aims to provide a friendly, positive and respectful learning environment for every student.
Students are expected to behave respectfully towards the teacher and other students.
Disruptive, offensive, inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour that affects the learning or wellbeing of other students will be discussed with the parent or guardian.
If serious or repeated behaviour makes it impossible for the student to participate appropriately in the group, Bee First English reserves the right to review the student's place on the course.
10. MOODLE & COURSE MATERIALS
Enrolment will include access to the relevant Bee First English learning materials and activities through Moodle.
These materials are provided for the enrolled student's personal educational use only.
They should not be copied, shared, distributed or made available to another person without permission from Bee First English.
Access to the relevant course materials is provided while the student is enrolled on the course.
11. COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Important information about classes, timetables, holidays, payments or course changes may be communicated through WhatsApp, email or Moodle.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that Bee First English has their current contact details.
If I have any concerns about your child's attendance, participation, progress or behaviour, I may contact you directly to discuss them.
Likewise, parents and guardians are always welcome to contact me if they have a question or concern about their child's classes.
12. SAFEGUARDING & ONLINE SAFETY
The safety and wellbeing of children and young people attending Bee First English classes is important.
Students should not share personal contact information, passwords or other private information with other students during lessons.
Parents or guardians should contact Bee First English if they have any safeguarding or online-safety concerns relating to their child's participation in the course.
13. PHOTOS, VIDEOS & RECORDINGS
Bee First English will not use photographs, videos or recordings of a child for promotional or social-media purposes without the appropriate permission from their parent or guardian.
Any request for permission to use a student's image or recording for promotional purposes will be dealt with separately from these Course Enrolment Terms & Conditions.
14. PAYMENTS & KEEPING YOUR CHILD'S PLACE
Your child's regular class place is reserved while they remain enrolled and the monthly payments are up to date.
If there is ever a problem with a payment, please contact me as soon as possible. I understand that circumstances sometimes change, and I would always prefer you to speak to me so that we can try to find a solution.
If payments are not kept up to date and no alternative arrangement has been agreed, Bee First English may release the student's place in the class.
